| This pinot has a lovely rich velvety ruby colour with beautiful floral aromas. Roses and violets, cherries and plums, bacon and mushrooms, all abound on the delightfully perfumed nose. On the palate it is a very clean elegant wine, beautifully textured with sweet berry fruit and lovely savoury characters. It has delightful balance and acidity with fine grained tannins and a lingering herbal finish. It promises to develop considerable complexity and charm given further bottle age. |
