2009 vintage presented a great growing season allowing the fruit to ripen well and catch the best of the late autumn sun. Hawkshead Pinot Noir aged for 11 month in French oak barrels (40% new). The colour is bright garnet.
Complex red fruit dominates, with damp earth, slate and dried herb undertones. The palate is silky and delicate front that glides into a shapely mineral finish. This has sophisticated elegance, with real flavour length
